Roofers in Northolt

What roofers in Northolt find on local homes

Northolt has a mix of inter-war semis and terraces and post-war council-built estates, many now privately owned. For example, you will find concrete interlocking tiles on a lot of these roofs, clay tiles on some of the older houses, and plenty of flat-roofed porches, garages and rear extensions. Estate housing often shares roof lines with neighbours, so we check how a repair or re-roof will meet next door's roof before we start.

As a result, the faults we see most in Northolt are:

• Worn felt under the tiles letting in wind-driven rain.
• Cracked ridge and hip mortar.
• Leaking valleys.
• Flat roofs that have simply reached the end of their life.

For flat roofs, we talk you through the options, such as torch-on felt, EPDM rubber and GRP fibreglass. We explain which suits the size and use of your roof.

A full re-roof can also need Building Regulations sign-off. The government’s guide to building regulations approval explains when, and we include it in the quote where it applies.

How a job runs

1. We visit and survey the roof, taking photos where it is safe to do so.
2. You get a written quote that sets out the work, access and waste removal.
3. We agree a start date that suits you and keep you updated while we work.
4. We clear the site and walk you through the finished roof.

In addition, our hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm, with Sunday by appointment. We do not advertise a 24-hour service we cannot provide.
